Indie-electro duo Telemarkk release Summer anthem inspired by 80s pop.

Rightfully hailed as the 'masters of indie-electro' by their fans, Telemarkk release yet another single to soundtrack your Summer. 'Bloom' is the disco-inspired masterpiece that you never knew you needed - until now.

This release marks the beginning of their EP campaign (due towards the end of 2021), which is set to take us on a journey through multiple genres. Telemarkk's sound is underpinned by retro synth design and groovy basslines as ever, and the duo embark on a mission to create an immersive 'sonic experience' for the listener. If you like Dua Lipa, Tame Impala, and Roosevelt, you're gonna love this...

"[Bloom] resembles holding on to positives in negative situations, particularly felt throughout the pandemic when dealing with isolation, expressing the feeling of falling out of touch with people and the realisation/evaluation of a breakdown in a relationship."

Though inspired by tough times, 'Bloom' is catchy and borderline euphoric - a real earworm, and undeniably playlist-friendly (think; dinner parties, road trips, etc.). Where many releases born of the pandemic seem forced, trite and overly sentimental, Telemarkk transform their experiences into something truly uplifting and unpretentious. As with all this Southampton duo's previous releases, 'Bloom' is another feather to their cap.
