Queensland electro-pop artist Sahara Beck serves up rebellious new single 'Kryptonite'.

Sahara Beck has a number of accolades to her name, but I don't need to go into those - the new single 'Kryptonite' is the picture that paints a thousand words, in that respect. Plus...Google.

Beck's impressive CV is made even more extraordinary with the addition of her latest release. Smooth and glittery, yet rebellious and decadent; Sahara Beck hits all the right notes. However, despite its slick, feel-good essence, 'Kryptonite' hides a darker meaning, with the songwriter admitting that the track describes avoidance and denial at its heart.

“I realised I was doing a lot of bad things to avoid feeling and processing what I was going through at the time [...] I didn’t want to take anything seriously because that means dealing with it. Then you soon realise you’re falling in love with the things that are slowly killing you.”

Straight off the back of a feature on Purple Disco Machine's 'Can't Get Enough', Beck's newfound fans will be enthralled to hear her incredible songwriting remaining a constant throughout every track she touches.
