FRIDAY FINDS: 01-10-2021

This week's auditory delicacies are brought to you by Inland Murmur, Claudia Fenoglio, and miss anita. Ready? Let's go...

Inland Murmur - Freshwater

Just like the ocean on the 'Freshwater' cover artwork, Inland Murmur's new single is creating waves.

The swung beats are reminiscent of traditional folk music - the type that might have been sung hundreds of years ago in Toby and Hannah's home county, Camarthenshire, whose beautiful landscapes inspired this (equally beautiful) song.

Claudia Fenoglio - 19 Again

BBC Introducing hot tip Claudia Fenoglio has released her latest single '19 Again', after taking a short break to finish her degree.

The multitalented singer-songwriter issues a word to the wise; just because you're having a weak moment, doesn't mean you should go back to the self-destructive habits of your past. I think a few of us needed to hear this! Thanks, Claudia!

miss anita - oh

Brothers William and Trevor Phillips have released their debut single under pseudonym miss anita, and it's already proving popular with new fans.

With nearly six thousand streams since its release, the Postal Service-inspired track seems to reach its intended audience of the chronically unlucky in love. The duo aimes to create something fun to sing along with, and have done just that from the safety of their bedroom.
